The Mill Theatre, Dormston Centre, Sedgley
The Dormston Centre was built in 1997 with funding from The National Lottery and Sport England. The Centre boasts a large sports hall with two smaller studios, a well-equipped gym, an Art Gallery, a fully licensed bar and a 350 seat, purpose built theatre. These facilities make The Dormston Centre an important focus for Arts and Sports activities in the North Dudley area, and an excellent venue to show off the talent that the local community has to offer.
The Dormston Centre is committed to house the best facilities, at affordable prices, in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Our aim is to enable local people to hire, offer clubs / performances, participate in and attend a wide range of activities at The Centre. Therefore, we are proud that our hiring costs are excellent value for money, allowing voluntary, charity and Amateur groups to work in a modern, professional venue.
The Centre is already home to five local amateur theatre groups (Including our resident amateur company – Secga Theatre) three youth groups and one professional company.
